KMyMoneyCombo is the old editable combobox based on kMyMoneyCompletion and KMyMoneySelector. KMyMoneyMVCCombo the new combobox using Qt4 completion. It is better because it can be used with a model. Unfortunately the Qt4 completion mechanism is not sufficiently flexible to implement the kind of completion that we have in the category editor. That's why the old mechanism was preserved (we failed to port it). Anyway the recommendation is to use KMyMoneyMVCCombo on top of a model if it can be used to implement the desired behavior.
