It certainly used to be that prices in transactions were not added to the prices list. I cannot remember if this was from QIF import, which I'm sure I did fix, and/or from manual input. (I've just checked, and manually entered transactions do now have their price added.) A price *can* be entered manually with a date before the opening date. Oh, this is interesting, a transaction can be entered with a pre-opening date.
