Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Bug reporting is about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future users from hitting the same bug. I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/welcome-to-support-and-help/49951, or for more support options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-oem-6.14 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2129027 Title: After suspending and turing the PC back on, the wifi disappears possibly because of D3cold state ! Status in linux-oem-6.14 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have recently purchased this lenovo yoga 7 laptop and dualbooted it. When I boot into ubuntu, the wifi works fine, but then when I hit suspend and try to log back in the wifi just doesn't work.. It can't connect to the available network. As of now with trying a few fixes it doesn't even show up anymore. The problem is likely due to the D3Cold state and that the firmware is not able to handle the power states. I used gemini and Chatgpt to fix this but their methods are just not working. I need help !! After resuming from suspend, the Wi-Fi option disappears entirely. The hardware becomes inaccessible, and dmesg logs show errors like iwlwifi 0000:01:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3cold to D0, device inaccessible and HW_REV=0xFFFFFFFF, PCI issues?. This happens on a Lenovo (83KF) with an Intel BE200 card. The only way to restore Wi-Fi is a complete, cold shutdown (not a simple reboot) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.04 Package: linux-image-6.14.0-1013-oem 6.14.0-1013.13 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.14.0-1013.13-oem 6.14.11 Uname: Linux 6.14.0-1013-oem x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.28.1-0ubuntu3.8 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: aryav 2585 F.... pipewire aryav 2588 F.... wireplumber /dev/snd/seq: aryav 2585 F.... pipewire CasperMD5CheckResult: unknown CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Mon Oct 20 17:45:11 2025 InstallationDate: Installed on 2025-10-17 (3 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS "Noble Numbat" - Release amd64 (20250805.1) IwConfig: lo no wireless extensions. enx022f087a0070 no wireless extensions.
