Public bug reported: [Impact] Can not wake on LAN via Realtek SFP moudule.
[Fix] Realtek provides a patch to fix this issue https://patchew.org/linux/[email protected]/ [Test] 1. On the machine with Realtek SFP module, enable Wake-On-Lan $ sudo ethtool --change <your interface name> wol g 2. To power on the machine from remote $ wakeonlan -i <ip address> <MAC address> [Where problems could occur] This patch reduce the value of EEE speed down ratio.
