Title:
G920 force feedback broken in 6.14 HWE kernel (worked in 6.11 HWE)

Status in linux-hwe-6.14 package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
After updating to the Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS HWE kernel version
6.14.0-24-generic, my Logitech G920 steering wheel began
malfunctioning. This issue did not occur in the previous HWE kernel
6.11.0-1014-generic, where the wheel worked perfectly. This appears to
be a regression between HWE kernel versions.

  Steps to Reproduce:
Boot into Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS with kernel 6.14.0-24-generic

Plug in the Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel (USB ID:
  046d:c262)

  Launch a racing game (e.g., BeamNG.drive via Steam/Proton)

  Observe wheel behavior

  Expected Behavior:
  Force feedback works correctly

  Wheel self-centers as normal

  No erratic or involuntary movement

  Actual Behavior on Kernel 6.14:
  Wheel pulls or twitches randomly

Erratic and unnatural force feedback behavior

  Continues until unplugged or rebooted

Temporary workaround: Disabling force feedback in BeamNG stops the
erratic behavior — but this also disables all FFB functionality, which
defeats the point of using the wheel.

  Kernel Versions Tested:
  6.11.0-1014-generic Working normally
  6.14.0-24-generic Regression present
