Thanks Daniel, I checked the changelog, there are two fixes between
ubuntu8 and ubuntu9, it sounds not related to this one.

@banbom, did you upgrade your kernel when this issue is disappeared? The
default version is 6.8.0-52.

  Fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04.5 fails on P1G7

Bug description:
  After installing 22.04 on the P1 Gen 7, the system hung at the Lenovo
  Post screen. I had to use "nomodeset" to boot the system and then
  update the kernel.
