Bug description:
  [Impact]

Microsoft has requested for the following bugfix to be backported into
the noble and jammy linux-azure trees:

db363b0a1d9e6b9dc556296f1b1007aeb496a8cf ("CIFS: New mount option for
  cifs.upcall namespace resolution")

  [Fix]

Backported into the jammy/noble Azure trees by fixing various context
  conflicts.

  [Test plan]

  Build tested only.

  [Where problems could occur]

The changeset is relatively self-contained, so the regression risk
  seems relatively low.

  [Other info]

  SF #00405264
