Title: compiz interferes with jackd realtime audio playback Status in Freebob: New Status in Restricted Manager: Invalid Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Binary package hint: compiz this happens with both ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards and only started happening just recently. when I'm recording or playing back multitrack audio in ardour minimize, maximize, open, close of a window for instance will cause xruns. my realtime session in jackd has priority of 70-80 so....? my system has all the usually tweaks for realtime audio i.e the linux-rt kernel, /etc/udev/40-permissions... and /etc/security/limits.comf edits. this was fine what happened?
