I'll test.
I could also try 6.8.0-48-generic from noble, if I can get it all installed
(this laptop is new, and had Oracular on it from scratch).
The noble kernel should run OK as I have another system on which I *have* to
use it, as 6.11.0* just stops dead (powers off completely) shortly after boot.

Title:
kernel 6.11.0-9-generic crashes during early boot ~10% of the time

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  New
Status in linux source package in Oracular:
  New

Bug description:
On my laptop (but no other system I have) the 6.11.0-9-generic kernel
in 24.10 crashes during early boot about 5% to 10% of the time.

If it doesn't crash then the system runs OK.

The only information I have is the crash dump displayed on the screen.

I've attached the one that showed more information than usual (the
  most I've seen).

Could it be that a probe is getting random data returned?
