Just the usual "failed to wake target", sometimes accompanied by "firmware crashed!", but always requiring a full reboot to fix.
BUT occasionally it even "sleeps through" the reboot and requires a second reboot! In fact this was what happened last time, yesterday. Here's the dmesg: [ 41.752713] wlp1s0: authenticate with 44:8d:36:8f:62:41 [ 41.752783] wlp1s0: bad VHT capabilities, disabling VHT [ 41.752796] wlp1s0: 80 MHz not supported, disabling VHT [ 41.799985] wlp1s0: send auth to 44:8d:36:8f:62:41 (try 1/3) [ 41.801945] wlp1s0: authenticated [ 41.805210] wlp1s0: associate with 44:8d:36:8f:62:41 (try 1/3) [ 41.809491] wlp1s0: RX AssocResp from 44:8d:36:8f:62:41 (capab=0x1411 status=0 aid=2) [ 41.816358] wlp1s0: associated [ 41.816957] ath: EEPROM regdomain: 0x82d4 [ 41.816980] ath: EEPROM indicates we should expect a country code [ 41.817133] ath: doing EEPROM country->regdmn map search [ 41.817154] ath: country maps to regdmn code: 0x37 [ 41.817166] ath: Country alpha2 being used: ES [ 41.817176] ath: Regpair used: 0x37 [ 41.817186] ath: regdomain 0x82d4 dynamically updated by country element [ 41.950556] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlp1s0: link becomes ready [ 41.950542] wlp1s0: Limiting TX power to 30 (30 - 0) dBm as advertised by 44:8d:36:8f:62:41 [ 44.774289] ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: failed to wake target for write32 of 0x00000041 at 0x0003543c: -110 Could it be a clue? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1882968 Title: ath10k_pci failed to wake target for write32 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Wifi card stopped working.
