Public bug reported: I'm filing this bug report because my touchpad recently stopped working at all.
I executed this at at a terminal : cat /proc/bus/input/devices but there was no touchpad in the list. I read this page (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection) and found out it must be a bug related to the kernel. I'm attaching the result of the cat /proc/bus/input/devices command.
