So, can you boot from 5.3.0-23? I thought the initial report mentioned
you could not boot from 5.3.0-23.

And are you using secure boot? That would prevent testing the kernel I
gave you as it cannot be properly signed being a test kernel. If that is
the case, can you disable secure boot and test?

Title:
  Kernels 5.022 or higher booting issues

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I tried both kernels (5.022 and 5.023) but my new laptop (Asus zenbook
  14) cannot boot and had to return to kernel 5.019. The error it gives
  was something of the following: "boot - ALERT! ...uuid... does not
  exit! Dropping to shell."

  I am using Linux Mint as a distro.
