Sebastiaan, thank you for your comments. Just as an FYI, any tests you did with the old 1.06 BIOS aren't considered valid for the purposes of troubleshooting this bug. Hence, for regression testing purposes, could you please test Lucid via http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid/ and advise to the results?
