SUMMARY
after a reinstallation of my system (2 weeks ago) and without too many deep
configurations (sysctl.d, network & firewall) I observed that deleting the
$HOME/.cache folder impacts the "picture of the day" module.

No longer possible to obtain pictures (blank) from any of the providers. the
module does not work anymore.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set module picture-of-the-day && chose a picture as your default wallpapers
2. delete your .cache/ folder
3. reboot && observe

OBSERVED RESULT
your wallpaper is gone && impossible to fetch && set another one 

EXPECTED RESULT
get my wallpapers settings working as it should

no logs, but all my previous systems faced to this issue (3 times in less than
a year)
