            Bug ID: 491285
Summary: Panel losing focus when moving to opened widget menus
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: master
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Panel
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: blaydsteph...@gmail.com
                CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Panel is set to 'Dodge Windows' mode, and window focus is set to 'Focus follows
mouse (mouse precedence) with 0ms delay (using the 'Polonium' KWin Script for
tiling on Fedora 40 Wayland). There is a small gap between the panel and the
opened widget menus, and due to window focus settings, this small gap is
grabbing window focus again after the opening animation is finished, preventing
me from accessing these menus unless I move into them before the animation
completes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have at least one window open
2. Move mouse to screen edge to open the panel
3. Navigate to a widget and left click to open its menu
4. Move mouse onto opened menu after animation is finished

OBSERVED RESULT
The menu and taskbar will drop.

EXPECTED RESULT
The menu should stay open I think?

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 40
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
