SUMMARY

I’m just doing my first project with the new v23.04.1 and have a problem with
the new sequences.

I created and added them as intended and it works like a charm. But as I open
the file again today, the clips in the sub-sequences are shown without any
effect; only the “main” sequence has it’s clip effects. Also in the main
sequence the sub-sequences are played (and rendered) with effects and looking
in the raw project file I see the effects (and options) listed with the clips.
With this behaviour it's not possible to edit sub-sequences anymore after
closing the project file.

I also cleared the cache (~/.cache/kdenlive) and the behaviour still exists.

I changed the name of the sequence folder to "_squences" so it goes on the top
of the project bin.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add sub-sequences to project with clips and effects.
2. Change the name of the sequences folder to "_sequences"
3. Close kdenlive.
4. Open kdenlive and the project file again and switch to sub-sequence.

OBSERVED RESULT

In the sub-sequences only the clips and compositions are visible, no effects
anymore.

EXPECTED RESULT

All effects visible and editable on the clips in the sub-sequences.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Ubuntu Mate 22.04.2
KDE Frameworks: Version 5.92.0
Qt Version: Version 5.15.3 (built against 5.15.3)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Changed in the project bin the standard name of the folder from "Sequences" to
"_sequences".
