Of course, KDE display configuration also goes away, but that's an acceptable trade-off for me since I'm fine with using xrandr and scripts. I see the product here is marked as "KWin", but this may in fact be more "kscreen" related. I previously reported this occurs on Intel graphics, but this also occurs on my desktop with an AMD GPU (and open source drivers).
