(Not sure if I had mouse pointer). Certainly not keyboard. Windows decorations were there. I switch to console and back to X. Now I have mouse pointer but no click. No keyboard. Now I can't Ctrl-Alt-F2. I ssh and do sudo chvt 2 I restart kwin from console (DISPLAY=:0 kwin --replace) Now I have mouse pointer + click but still no keyboard. I restarted plasmashell. Kate crashed as per: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461318 Still no keyboard input. *** Do you happen to know what process I need to restart to gain keyboard again?. I had to reboot. and I lost a lot of state. In the meantime as I promised I straced both kwin and plasmashell. Everything looks ok.
