--- Comment #204 from Nate Graham <n...@kde.org> --- I suspect all the issues here are 99% the same as Bug 450068, which indeed hits DisplayPort users harder than HDMI users, since it seems like the screen connector IDs are much more volatile for DisplayPort monitors, especially when used with DisplayPort docks. I asked people to post their ScreenConnectors data to test this theory, and so far the data people have reported is tending to confirm it. The good news is that Plasma developers have acknowledged the fragility of the current approach of mapping desktops and panels to screen connector IDs and are working ona fundamentally different data source, which should automatically solve most of the bugs.
