Thanks for this useful report!
This is probably related to the "Custom Quality" option in the "More Options"
of the render dialog wrongly enabled by default. Disabling it should workaround
the problem temporarily. In 22.04.3 (release within the next days) this will be
fixed.
Feel free to reopen this report if it still happens with 22.04.3
