What have you selected in the "When Konqueror starts" field in the General page
of Konqueror configuration dialog? If you have set "Show my start page", have
you also filled the field on its right? Bug #449874 described a similar issue
and we found out that it was caused by choosing to use a custom start page but
leaving it empty. Note that setting the Home page has no effect here (the home
page is the page you go when you press the Home button on the toolbar).
