I just rendered a video with that image an I am amazed: no crackling, typwriter is "build-in" as a feature for text elements, good!!! My old video timeline with rendering bugs with speeded videos is already rendered to a mp4, after many tries with adding video lines to the timeline. So you can close this bug report!
