Summary: Reverse Geocoding - Using GeoTags from Geosetter
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Other
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Geolocation-ReverseGeoCoding
          Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: stephan.kr...@t-online.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
***
Usually I am using GeoSetter to set all GeoTags for my photos. For searching
the location where the photo was taken, I perform a reverse geocoding also with
GeoSetter (using Geonames). Sometimes I have to specify some locations by hand.
The respective tags, like Country-Primary Location Name, Province-State,
Sub-location and City are stored in IPTC and XMP format.
How can I set those elements as tags in DigiKam?
If I perform a Reverse Geocoding, I can use the adress elements of Open Street
Map or Geonames.org, but they do not match with the tags already stored in my
photos.
Ok, one way might be, to set all those tags by hand, but this would be a rather
crude task and I have to do the things twice.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Stephan
