Sometime, the digiKam process is not killed when i press Install from the Online Version Checker Tool. The GUI disappear, but process still in task manager (with exiftool instances of course). Another time, digiKam process is down but not the exiftool instances. And finally, trying again, all is fine. Conclusion: At the most on time all is fine (i tried 10 times), but sometime no. There is nothing special running in digiKam. I use Sqlite under Windows, and i just start digiKam icon view, open metadata view with ExifTool, and run Onlin Version Checker as well.
