Thanks for your report! It seems as if you accidentally disabled the menu bar
and the toolbars (or was this the first time you opened Kdenlive ever on your
machine?).
Resetting the config files should solve the problem:
~/.config/kdenlive-appimagerc
~/.config/kdenlive-layoutsrc
An easier solution would be to press Ctrl+M this should show the menu bar
again. Now you can enable the toolbar via menu Settings > Toolbars shown
