--- Comment #3 from Julius Künzel <jk.kde...@smartlab.uber.space> --- The default layout changed with 20.08 when we introduced several layouts for different purposes like Color, Audio,… (see https://kdenlive.org/en/2020/08/kdenlive-20-08-is-out/) and the new default is "Editing". However you can rearrange the layout and save custom ones in the "View" menu. The first five layouts in View > Manage Layouts are shown in the top right of the application window.
