That would mean that these apps don't support the X Session Management
Protocol. LibreOffice is the same way. Here's a bug I filed about it for the
LibreOffice devs: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129370
You'll have to do the same thing for the developer of these apps.
