Hi Maik, and happy new year of course (:-)))

In my office we use some Windows 10 to run fast acquisition measurement
systems, as you know (mostly Linux system of course).

Huge memory allocation is performed. It work mostly all the time, but if
allocation failure appears, we reiterate 3 time in a simple loop to prevent
wrong Windows memory management in this case. Note that systems has at least 32
gb of ram for 8gb allocated for measurements.

This kind of system dysfunction appears only for few Windows 10 revisions
(update). It never append under Linux.
