I googled a little and found a German article from Microsoft from December 2020. It describes that there is currently a problem in Windows 10, that applications that request a lot of memory quickly, sometimes fail. The article was about compiling program code. The help is currently to set the swap file on all drives to a fixed size, about 1.5 x the RAM.
