I'd heard that Krita was good with .psd files so I saved the .lip as a .psd. Then I opened the .psd in Krita and re-saved it as a Krita doc. Bit of a round about way to get the result I wanted but seems to have worked so far. Why do you ask? Many thanks, Christian.
