yakuake terminal with stripes when height it is set to 90%

SUMMARY
Yakuake show dark horizontal stripes on inside its terminal area when termianl
height is bigger than 50%

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Yakuake by its keyboard shortcut (mine it is the default, F12)
2. Set the terminal height to a value bigger than 50%. Close the terminal.
3. Open Yakuake again and you see dark stripes on terminal area. The bigger is
the terminal height, bigger are the stripes. With 50% and lower there is no
stripes. With 60% there are just "lines". With 100% there are large stripes.

OBSERVED RESULT
Stripes on terminal area when terminal height is bigger than 50%

EXPECTED RESULT
plain background at any height
