Open Yakuake by its keyboard shortcut (mine it is the default, F12) 2. Set the terminal height to a value bigger than 50%. Close the terminal. 3. Open Yakuake again and you see dark stripes on terminal area. The bigger is the terminal height, bigger are the stripes. With 50% and lower there is no stripes. With 60% there are just "lines". With 100% there are large stripes.
