This may be recently fixed locale-handling bug; for examples see bug 410167 and
its duplicates.
Does the problem still occur if you switch to American English, for example by
executing "LANG=en_us.UTF-8 korganizer" in a terminal window?
If that bug is the cause of your problem, the fix was released in KDE
Frameworks 5.72.0.
