Bug ID: 423318 Summary: Application launcher appears in wrong corner Product: plasmashell Version: 5.18.5 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff) Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: bigleo...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 129563 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=129563&action=edit Desktop screenshot showing incorrect launcher position. SUMMARY After having recently reinstalled Manjaro, the application launcher has started appearing in the wrong corner. This was never the case before. This bug occurs reliably after a system restart, and ceases after restarting plasmashell. The panel is (to my knowledge) unmodified, except for having enabled auto-hide. I am running a vertical dual monitor setup. Another thing to note: The system suffers from instability with the nvidia driver, so the compositor tab in system settings shows that the fallback to non-OpenGL compositing is activated. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Appears initially upon every reboot. Can be fixed by restarting plasmashell. OBSERVED RESULT The application launcher always appears in the upper left corner after rebooting the system. EXPECTED RESULT The application launcher should appear in the lower left corner, as it does after restarting plasmashell.
