I really don't see why certain elements of KDE Project are being so adamant
over not adding the lock/unlock feature back to the UI. The April Fools post
about KNOME is actually starting to ring true ;)
I'd open a separate bug based on the accessibility concern but am willing to
wager money that it would get closed as a duplicate straight away since it's
already been raised and dismissed by yourselves as no issue anyway.
Suffice to say I'm actually disgusted by this ignorant stance. If you won't add
the option back to the desktop right-click context menu and panel one, then at
least consider putting an entry to control the corona (oh the irony...) value
in the Accessibility settings under System Settings
