Turns out krita works fine now and i have no clue why. Since my test and post
in the morning i did not reboot nor did anything else. Pressure did not work in
Krita in the morning, but worked in gimp. Firing up MyPaint just now - pressure
worked. Figured i will try Krita one last time before i start deleting settings
and compiling - and now it works in Kirta too! So i guess this was the same
problem after all.
Sorry for wasting everyone's time and thanks for pointing me to the right
direction.
