Have you tried a third program like mypaint, just to pinpoint if the issue is
indeed Krita's or the driver's? I thought it would be similar to my issue, but
it start looking different, Just to rule out things, make a fresh build of
krita and remove the settings files (back them up if necessary), also I don't
know if you did, run the "# mkinitcpio -p linux" to put back in order the
modules that may have been deactivated while installing wizardpen.

After that I think would be easier to know that part of the software is the
culprit.
