SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.16 KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.63.0 Qt Version: 5.13.1 Kernel Version: 4.15.0-65-generice OS Type: 64-bit I tried killing xembedsniproxy but the green icon looks the same; however, that green icon software has had several updates in the past months. It only had the black background when the panel got messed up. I do not see a setting for compositor in System Settings > Display and Monitor (see attachment "Display and Monitor settings").
