Exactly. All good points and I'd also like to add that this is the kind of
issue where it's difficult to figure out what is even wrong. 

I've been using KDE since the 2000s and I've never realised why I never really
used the present windows feature, not until recently when I thought about it
with my more recent experience in UX.

My point is that the amount of votes or whatever (I don't even know how you
vote) is not necessarily relevant to how needed the change is.
