this isnt a problem because Latte is an official kde project found in kde
extragears.

I dont think the "Desktop" can be used for Latte because in the description it
says:
"These applications are common programs usually found in base KDE Plasma 4 or 5
installations." . It means that these apps are preinstalled which isnt the case
for Latte. 

Using userbase and applications will be just fine...
