I suspect the sync may get stuck on the "Multiple merge candidates" issue,
which then blocks the rest of sync.
David has recently fixed the ItemSync rollback to not get stuck (that should be
in 18.08.1 release next month).
The Multiple Merge Candidates issue has been plaguing us for a long time now,
the fix is to force-resync the entire folder.
