"multiple merge candidates" of what would that be? If I interpreted the akonadi definitions right then a "collection" corresponds to a subscribed IMAP folder. I realized that I have one folder with the name "Spam" showing up twice, once as id 121 with INBOX as the parent and once as id 131 – the seemingly problematic one – with "Learn" as the parent.
