I draw everyday on my Lenovo Flex 5 with a Lenovo pen and I don't have this
problem in any other drawing programs. I don't use a tablet I just flip my
laptop over into tablet mode and draw on it there, and when I first started
using Krita about a week ago I didn't have this problem at all. But now every
stroke I make is connected with a straight line from the end of the first
stroke to the beginning of the next stroke and the cursor doesn't move from the
end of the first stroke. I actually found a similar issue reported here:

but all the users in this thread use a tablet and their solution seems to be to
change the drivers for that tablet, which I don't use.
