Hello @bugreporter11! We are sorry that this change of behavior has caused
confusion and issues for you. This change was made to help regular users who
might not have been aware of the Preview functionality of Dolphin and was
considered a sane default by all developers. If you would like to revert this
change and toggle previews off, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the hamburger icon in the top bar if you haven't enabled the menu
bar. If you did, click on "View".
2. Select the option "Adjust view properties"
3. Now, you may check off the box "Show previews"
4. Choose if you want to apply this setting to all folders or only the current
one & select "Use these view properties as default"
After clicking OK, your view properties should now be changed and Previews will
no longer show up unless you enable them explicitly :) I am going to close this
bug now, but please reopen the report if these steps somehow do not work for
you.
