But that would be another program, not partition manager. Although, kpmcore library can be reused if somebody decides to write usb formatter. Anyway, it looks like you just need to find out which configuration is accepted by your DVD player. Unfortunately, as you can see they are often quite picky. These devices often don't accept what is perfectly valid partitioning on PCs.
