--- Comment #5 from jailbrea...@abv.bg --- So (In reply to Andrius Štikonas from comment #1) > I don't think your USB is bricked, it shouldn't be possible to brick USB > from Linux userspace. > > Which file systems have you used to format your USB? You need to check what > your DVD players supports, most likely it should be FAT32, maybe NTFS or > maybe even exFAT. > > What did you do in Mate to make it work? By Bricked I mean that it doesn't show the movies on my DVD, only when I plug it on my Laptop. I've tried to format it in different ways. Disks - Format. Then from the Discovery I install KDE Disk management or something like that. Format it with it - same thing. Then with Gparted - same thing. So I gave up and made me Ubuntu mate with StartUp disk Creator. Here on Mate I formated it the same way I usually do - Disks - choose the USB - Format. Then everything works - I put the movies on my USB - plug it in the DVD and bummmm the movies are there ready to play (everything working after doing the same thing on KDE Neon and Mate (Mint/Ubuntu). Never had this problem on another distro. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
