You say you put in an amount for interest. Did you (right above the amount) select a Category for the interest? KMyMoney and the reconciliation process is not hung or frozen, it just can't go on without knowing the Category for an Interest amount. The same would hold if you entered any amount for Charges (fees.) Notice that the "Continue" button is disabled/grayed out. If you confirm that "Continue" becomes enabled after selecting a Category, I'll turn this bug into a wishlist to improve the wording at the top to make it more obvious that a Category is required for any amount entered for either Interest or Charges. Minor point - when you reply to a bug by email, please trim everything except your response. Your entire message becomes the next bug comment, and the extra copy of the previous comment (what you are replying to) makes the entire bug more difficult to read.
