And the file search dialog correctly shows the "Pause Indexer" button at the top right while the bottom status line indicates that indexing is running (e.g. "Indexing file content, 21% complete). But the 4 extraneous directories are still present. However, their status shows "Indexed". This cannot be correct because the path names of the files being indexed, displayed in the bottom status line, show files under the /home/rhimbo/Documents hierarchy (currently; I'll monitor to see if it also indexes files in the ~/Videos directory, etc).
