It does, the age of the issue is not very relevant but the number of comments
and duplicate bugs very much.
It is marked VHI critical.

Most of KDE contributors are volunteers, like myself, working from the good of
their heart, making free software on their weekend.
Keep this in minds.

This workaround is shipped by two distributions biglinux and manjaro
(https://github.com/biglinux/usb-dirty-pages-udev)

And I have been doing some research into fixing this, (multiple times):

Not clear how to fix this yet.
