This is because to run Konqueror as root, a special and insicure flag has to be turned on for the web browsing component. This is a process-wide option and, since usually there's only one Konqueror instance, regardless of the number of windows, this means that a new Konqueror instance and so a new window, must be created. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
