First of all the package didn't appear in the Launcher Menu, although the Config item did. I ran that and set the icon to appear in the Task Bar. Still no sign of it. I switched users to check my original installation and when I switched back, it had appeared in the Launcher Menu. I then added the Quicklaunch widget and put the KWalletManager icon into it (because that's how I use it normally). At this point everything was OK. I then tried running cat ~/.config/klipperrc and got a 'file or folder not found message'.
